INTRODUCTION:
Senior thesis is a year long project where a student analyzes a building that has been constructed, or is currently under construction. Each of the options within the AE program will focus on certain aspects of the building relating to their option. The project I will be focusing on is the addition to the Intramural Building on the Penn State Campus at University Park. The addition will be the third phase of the building. The addition will be mixed use, adding an indoor turf field, a rock climbing wall, table tennis, various lounges and several offices and appointment rooms. All information from the project, as well as myself will be found on this website. This includes all reports, drawings, personal information and information on the parties involved on the project. ABOUT CPEP:
The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web‐based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year‐long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering.
